Ritsu Katsumata designs strategic communications pieces that blend motion graphics, audio, web and print media in holistic ways. Ritsu is a new media junkie, and is continually on the lookout for the latest and greatest technologies in communications. She’s also known to give old technologies new jobs. Ritsu integrates strategic thinking in developing media experiences as part of the communications revolution. Prior to joining Williams Group, Ritsu worked on multi-national corporate campaigns at advertising agencies in New York, Tokyo and Portland, Oregon, as well as on academic communications for Cornell and Bucknell universities. Outside of work, Ritsu enjoys spending time with her photographer husband and two young daughters, and composing and performing music on her electric violin. Ritsu studied modern drama and English literature for her B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A life-long learner, she has also earned credits in music composition and multimedia art at Cornell and Bucknell, and she dreams of pursuing an M.B.A. She has been a member of the Wg Design Team since 2008.
