Internship

Williams Group offers an internship that reflects our commitment to increasing diversity in the communication field, particularly within the nonprofit sector. Since 2006, our internship has provided practical experience for college students of color who are pursuing one of two career paths:

• Professional communications. Interested in exploring the application of this discipline within the nonprofit field, these students might be focusing in a communication craft such as writing or graphic design, a technical arena such as market research or program management, or a media area such as print, broadcast, video or electronic communications.
• Nonprofit careers. Interested in learning about the practice of communications as an asset to their work, these students might be focusing on nonprofit management, sociology or other curricula preparing them for leadership in this field. 

The internship is designed for students in their junior or senior year, though consideration will also be given to immediate post-graduate students and to students pursuing post-graduate degrees in the above categories. Please submit resume and cover letter to jdeyoung@williams-group.com.
