It's no surprise that the large population of older adults in the U.S. is a rich resource of experience, knowledge and passion for making the world a better place. The challenge is in creating the infrastructure that connects community needs with the deep expertise and energy of older adults.

Working with Community Planning and Research, LLC, Williams Group helped bring together some of the leading minds in community philanthropy to brainstorm an initiative model to engage older adults through community foundations. Wg helped identify and invite participants, supported the initiation of the brain trust, and facilitated a series of conversations resulting in the definition of a transformative, and replicable, program model. The outcome is the continuously evolving Community Experience Partnership, an initiative of The Atlantic Philanthropies.
